Dr. Meyer

Dr. Meyer was born and raised in Mantua Township. He graduated from Crestwood High School in 1982 and from The Ohio State University College of Optometry in 1988. After a few years at The Cleveland Clinic Department of Ophthalmology, Dr. Meyer was appointed to Chief of Optometric Services and Director of Contact Lens Services. Dr. Meyer left The Clinic to open The Mantua Eye Center and returned home to offer the same level of ophthalmic care to his hometown community.

Dr. Meyer draws from the vast knowledge and experience obtained from working in The Cleveland Clinic's sub-specialty Ophthalmologic environment and regularly sees patients with cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, red eyes and eye infections, keratoconus, as well as routine eye examinations for eyeglasses and contact lenses.

Beth Meyer

Licenced Optician/ Office Manager
Beth also got her start at The Cleveland Clinic Department of Ophthalmology where she held various positions as appointment secretary, contact lens service coordinator, administrative assistant, and optician trainee. She has been managing the office since she joined The Mantua Eye Center in 1996, and became a licensed optician in 2007 . You are likely to talk to Beth when you call the office. She has extensive experience and can help you with just about everything from insurance questions to fitting and adjusting your eyeglasses.

Emily C. Voytilla

O.D.
Dr. Voytilla grew up in Geauga county and graduated from The Pennsylvania College of Optometry where she earned a masters degree in visual optics, as well as a Doctorate in Optometry in 2002. She has additional certification in working with prosthetic eyes, pediatrics and low vision rehabilitation.

Dr. Voytilla practiced in Pittsburgh from 2002-2008. During that time she worked in a private practice and served as the Secretary to the Board of the Western Pennsylvania Optometric Society. She was voted Young Optometrist of the Year in 2006. During that time she served as an examiner for the National Board of Optometry.

In 2008, Dr. Voytilla and her husband Randy moved back to Ohio. She is happy to be living close to her family in Auburn Township and Mantua. She has three children: Steven, Betsy and Karina.
