 Dr. Christopher Meyer started his career at the world renowned Cleveland Clinic where he was Chief of Optometric Services and the Director of Contact Lens Services for the Department of Ophthalmology. At the Cleveland Clinic he saw thousands of patients, lectured extensively to other doctors, students, and technicians. Dr. Meyer also trained Cleveland Clinic ophthalmology residents in ophthalmic optics and examination procedures, participated in clinical research, and directed the Contact Lens Service.

A few months after the birth of his second child, he decided to live a simpler life and spend more time with his family. The Mantua Eye Center was opened in Dr. Meyer's hometown in 1994 where he continues to offer the same world class, expert clinical care in a friendly, familiar, local setting.
